Scott Allen is a nationally recognized leader in deflection, community safety, and wellbeing with 25+ years in law enforcement and public health collaboration. A retired Chief of Police in East Bridgewater, MA, he now serves as Executive Director of Community Engagement at Cordata Healthcare Innovations and Senior Adjunct Instructor at Curry College. He co-founded and led a regional drug task force, launched programs like Handle With Care and EB HOPE, and helped create Plymouth County Outreach, a nationally replicated model recognized with the 2018 IACP Cisco Award. After retiring, he became COO of Operation 2 Save Lives and QRT National, expanding deflection initiatives nationwide until its 2024 acquisition by Cordata. A sought-after speaker, he has presented at the White House, ONDCP, BJA, SAMHSA, IACP, and more. He contributes to the Journal for Community Safety and Well-Being, co-authors articles, and engages with PAARI and IACP. He holds degrees from Plymouth State and Western New England University.
