Lt. Maria Aldridge is a Colorado native with over 26 years of law enforcement experience, including more than 18 years in supervisory and command positions.
Throughout her distinguished career, Lt. Aldridge has held the ranks of Technician, Corporal, and Sergeant. She has served in a variety of roles across the department, including Patrol, Internal Affairs, Major Crimes – Missing and Exploited Persons, Public Nuisance Abatement, the Professional Development Unit, and as Aide to the Division Chief of Administration.
Lt. Aldridge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and has completed extensive professional training throughout her career. In her current leadership role, she works closely with the Recruitment Unit and has played a key role in developing the EmpowHer program—an initiative aimed at inspiring and recruiting future female law enforcement officers.
Driven by a deep commitment to service, Lt. Aldridge is passionate about the recruitment, retention, and support of all officers serving the Denver community.
