Salvador Del Cid is the senior public relations specialist at KCPD, developing and leading the department’s day-to-day social media efforts. Del Cid assists with crisis communications, and works closely with the Chief of Police and command staff to execute strategic communications that support the organization’s goals and priorities. He has nearly 20 years of experience in TV news, including with ABC’s World News Tonight and Good Morning America. Del Cid also has a Master of Science degree in Strategic Communication from Purdue University.
