Dr. Robert J. Cipriano Jr. has been working with the South Florida community as a licensed psychologist in FL for the past 23 years. Dr. Cipriano is currently a FL, CA, & NC licensed psychologist. He is board certified in Police & Public Safety Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) & for the majority of his professional experience, practices CBT & more recently within the past 5 years has acquiesced to providing EMDR therapy to clientele experiencing trauma based symptoms.Dr Cipriano is PSYPACT certified to provide HIPAA compliant telehealth services from FL to 40 states.Dr. Cipriano is currently the psychological supervisor for the psychological services program (PSP) for Ft. Lauderdale Police Department (FLPD). He is also co-developing a co-responder program for FLPD (CORE). Dr. Cipriano has provided an array of clinical services to both the Trauma-Intensive Care Unit (ICU) & inpatient behavioral health units at 1 of the level 2 Trauma hospitals in Northern Miami-Dade County & has provided 100's of critical incident stress debriefings (CISD) for a variety of staff for the past 21 years to both law enforcement & hospital professionals.
