Dr. Janet O. Allen is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the owner/Clinical Director of Creekside Counseling in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She has worked in the field of mental health for the last 35 years. She treats adults and couples primarily, and specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship counseling, and trauma recovery. Dr. Allen has a special interest in working with first responders and has maintained a strong and collaborative relationship with the Idaho Falls Police Department for the last several years. She applies a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions in her clinical work, and she is also trained in Yoga for First Responders. She is a passionate advocate for mental health counseling and speaks to diverse audiences addressing topics related to mental health, emotional resilience, and relationship wellness.
