Kate Anderson is a Chief Superintendent in Lincolnshire Police, in the United Kingdom. There she works as The Head of Local Policing and Prevention with responsibility for emergency response, neighbourhood policing, volume crime investigations and partnership prevention work. She studied at The University of Cambridge before joining the police, and has undertaken a variety of roles in public protection, digital innovation, CID, and uniform roles. Whilst in the police she was sponsored to undertake further research at Warwick University where she researched the language of leaders and police responses to mental health crises. In 2022 she was part of an international team awarded 'Best Collaboration' by The University of Oxford as part of their Map The System work looking at officer and staff welfare. She is part of the UK branch of The Society of Evidence Based Policing, and currently co-chairs The Midlands region of forces.
