Evidence-Based Leading Practices for Agency Wellness Program Implementation and Advancement

This session will present the most up-to-date, evidence-based best practices gathered from world-class subject matter experts and law enforcement agencies across the United States and beyond. Each recommendation aligns with the IACP Officer Health and Wellness Agency Assessment and Action Planning Roadmap’s “10 Steps for Building a Comprehensive Health & Wellness Program” and is illustrated through real-world case studies from both small and large agencies. The goal of the IACP Officer Safety and Organizational Wellness Section working group is to connect more agencies with established, trusted practices—advancing the profession and making a meaningful, lasting impact on the health and well-being of law enforcement officers and professional staff, both today and for generations to come.
