Cristian M. Ortiz Elizalde is Head of the Transnational Crimes Investigation Unit in Mexico, attached to the High Impact Operations Unit of the Federal Ministerial Police / Criminal Investigation Agency. He has been in this role for three years. This Unit has professional staff, trained and certified as “International Special Forces Agents” by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
(SBU) Ortiz Elizalde has dedicated 13 years to federal law enforcement, focusing on combating crimes such as money laundering, organized crime, and drug-related offenses. He has also played a pivotal role in locating and apprehending high-priority targets.
(SBU) Ortiz Elizalde has received specialized training as a Federal Ministerial Police Officer with the Criminal Investigation Agency. He holds certification as an International Special Forces Agent and has completed various advanced courses covering Fugitive Investigation, Currency Identification, Victim Assistance, Accusatorial Criminal Justice System, Tactical Medicine, and Advanced Tactical Training.
