Stacey Rothwell, the Director of the Eastern Region Innovation Network (ERIN) has completed her Masters’ studies at Cambridge in Police management and applied criminology and is an elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Experimental Criminology. Stacey is the has led two randomised control trials within Kent Police in England, trialling first telephone and latterly rapid video response (RVR) to non-domestic and domestic abuse calls for service which have both been published in the Cambridge University Journal of policing.
ERIN is a collaboration that co-ordinates innovation across 7 of the 43 English Police forces and is a centre of excellence that focuses on the development, implementation and replication of evidence based research, best practice and new technologies. Stacey represents the Eastern region at the National Police Chiefs Council Science and Innovation Board working closely with the Office of the Chief Scientific Advisor. The ERIN model has won a national award across all public sector bodies in the UK and the RVR project has won the best innovation of 2024 across all Government, Science and Engineering in England and Wales.
