The Cardiac Screening Initiative: 10 years, 20,000 Police Officers—Learn What Works to Prevent Heart Disease in Your Department
Monday, October 20, 2025
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM MT
Location: 407, Colorado Convention Center
Coronary artery disease remains one of the leading causes of death among men and women in uniform. After analyzing data from more than 20,000 law enforcement officers, we have developed screening techniques for heart disease in LEOs that have proven superior to standard cardiac assessments. This session will present evidence-based, peer-reviewed findings, including individual case studies and departmental experiences with cardiac screening. Attendees will also learn about available funding options and understand the return on investment—not only in lives saved, but also in reduced costs across the board.
