Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald is the Commanding Officer of the British Columbia RCMP, overseeing all provincial and municipal policing operations across the province of British Columbia—the largest RCMP division in Canada. With over 34 years of law enforcement experience, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Officer in Charge of the Surrey RCMP Detachment, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, as well as Assistant Commissioner responsible for the BC RCMP’s organized crime, national security, and intelligence operations. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and is a recipient of the Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces.
