Matt Patin is a Real Time Consulting Manager with Flock Safety, where he works with public safety agencies nationwide to design and strengthen real-time center operations. He retired from the City of New Orleans after 20 years of service, most recently as Chief of Operations for the Office of Public Safety & Homeland Security. In that role, he oversaw the city’s Real Time Crime Center and the Physical Security Departments.
Beginning his law enforcement career in 1999, Matt has served in a variety of capacities including Patrol, Investigations, Logistics, and Administration. He continues to serve as a Lieutenant in the NOPD reserves, supporting special event planning and RTCC operations.
Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Police Management and maintains three professional accreditations: Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Associate Protection Professional (APP), and Real-Time Crime Center Professional (RCCP). He is the immediate Past President of the National Real Time Crime Center Association and previously served as its Director of Professional Development.
