Kerry Yerico is a Senior Policy Advisor with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) where she manages a portfolio of projects that assist jurisdictions nationwide to reduce violent crime, strengthen partnerships, and enhance investigative clearance rates. Ms. Yerico previously served as a Senior Program Manager with the National Policing Institute where she managed the training and technical assistance efforts for BJA's Local Law Enforcement Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) Integration Initiative. Ms. Yerico also oversaw the implementation of violence reduction strategies serving as the Associate Director of Criminal Justice Programs with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. She previously supported real-time intelligence operations as the Director of Criminal Intelligence & Analysis at the Camden County Police Department, the Director of Analytical Intelligence at the Baltimore Police Department, and as a law enforcement analyst with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. Ms. Yerico received a B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University and a M.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph’s University.
