With 25 years of law enforcement experience in the greater Chicago area, including nearly a decade in a senior executive role, Christopher retired as Chief of Police in March 2022. Leveraging his deep expertise in public communication, media relations, and strategic leadership, he joined Julie Parker Communications and serves as Vice President, advising executives across government, higher education, and the private sector on crisis response, media strategy, and leadership communication. Christopher maintains strong ties to the public safety community, serving as an Executive Fellow with the National Policing Institute, a committee member with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and a long-standing member of the FBI National Academy Associates. Now based in central Florida, he remains active in regional law enforcement networks. He has authored articles for the International City/County Management Association’s PM Magazine, the International Association of Chiefs of Police’s Police Chief magazine, and Police1 and has been featured on numerous podcasts focused on leadership, crisis management, and public trust.
