Dr. Gina Gallivan is a Licensed and Board-Certified Police and Public Safety Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with 100+ agencies, served on the Executive Board of the IACP’s Psychological Services Section, and currently chairs the IACP’s Police Officer Wellness Initiative. She has conducted over 20,000 pre-employment screenings and responded to major critical incidents including the Seal Beach mass shooting and Route 91 massacre. Dr. Gallivan founded Southern California’s Regional Peer Support Program and is a subject matter expert for California P.O.S.T. She is the author of three books on first responder wellness: Unbreakable: The First Responder’s Guide to Rebuilding Life After Trauma, Between the Calls: Why First Responders Drink and How to Stop, and Betrayed From Within: Surviving Bureaucratic Stress and Administrative Betrayal in Law Enforcement.
