Dr. Katarina Ozcakir Mozova is a Senior Lecturer in Policing at Canterbury Christ Church University, with over 15 years of experience in criminal justice research. With a doctorate in forensic psychology, her interdisciplinary work bridges psychology, policing, and policy development. Dr. Mozova’s research includes complex issues such as gang involvement, youth justice, vulnerability in the justice system, covert human intelligence sources, police education, and trauma-informed practice. She leads initiatives to embed evidence-based practice across academic policing and security programs. At IACP, Dr. Mozova aims to expand the impact of UK-based research and foster international dialogue around research-informed decision-making.
