Scott Miller serves as the Chief of Police for the Siloam Springs Police Department for 25-years , stepping
into the role on January 1, 2024.
Rising through the ranks, Chief Miller has amassed extensive experience across various
divisions, including Patrol, Criminal Investigations, the Crime Suppression Unit, S.W.A.T., and
Narcotics. Chief His leadership capabilities were particularly evident during his tenure as Captain,
beginning in January 2018, where he oversaw critical areas of SSPD operations, including
Training and Accreditation, the Traffic Unit, and Patrol Operations.Miller’s dedication
has been instrumental in navigating the department through transformative initiatives and
critical incidents and the development of a wholistic wellness and resiliency propram.
Chief Miller is a distinguished graduate of the FBI National Academy 280th Session and the
University of Arkansas School of Law Enforcement Supervision. His academic journey also
includes studies in Criminal Justice at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) and the
University of Phoenix.
