Police Officer
Muskogee Police Department
Taylor Pevehouse is a patrol officer with the Muskogee Police Department. She graduated the academy in 2019 and has since completed various other trainings to become a certified instructor, a field training officer, and an accident reconstructionist. Taylor also holds an Associates of Natural Science degree, which focused on biological sciences. During the course of her duties, Taylor noticed a lapse in training when it came to handling victims of assault, motor vehicle wreck injuries, and other medical emergencies. In order to combat this lapse, Taylor attended a TECC class, which started her passion of law enforcement medicine. Taylor attended an EMT Basic school held by Muskogee County EMS and became a NREMT licensed EMT-B in 2022. She now serves as not only a patrol officer, but also a field medic for the Muskogee Police Department. Taylor is the current Team Leader for the Medical Support Unit, of which she was a founding member.
