Christine Mullan has served with the Knoxville Police Department since 2006. She began as the West District Analyst in the Crime Analysis Unit, focusing on tactical property crimes. She later worked as the GIS/Special Projects Analyst, targeting gift card scams, tracking SHOCAP offenders, and supporting KPD beat realignments.
In 2021, she became the Unit Supervisor, overseeing analysts responsible for collecting, analyzing, and sharing crime data to support enforcement and crime reduction efforts.
Before KPD, Christine worked in the Oil & Gas and Environmental Remediation industries as a GIS Technician. Her background in geographic information systems continues to inform her analytical work in law enforcement.
Christine is an active member of the International Association of Crime Analysts and the Tennessee Crime & Intelligence Analysts Association. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Geographic Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
