Natalie Clancy is a communications leader who spent 25 years telling high impact stories as a TV investigative journalist and crime reporter. She joined the Toronto Police Service and 2024 and implemented a video first strategy which doubled the Service’s video views on social media and increased followers by more than 25%, to 1.1 million. Her track record for building strong teams that deliver creative content, high engagement, and influence is evidenced by winning several Platinum Marcom Awards for communications strategy, media relations, social media, and a Golden Quill Award of Excellence for the campaign to save Oshawa GM. As a journalist, she produced dozens of award-winning stories including investigations into B.C.'s fentanyl crisis, child soldiers in Africa, and sexual harassment in the RCMP that resulted in a $100 million class action settlement for female police officers.
