Mr. Onufrychuk is a Senior Project Coordinator at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), where he leads training and technical assistance for sites funded through the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation (BCJI) program. Mr. Onufrychuk helps local practitioners in identifying underlying drivers of violence, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and implementing data-driven, community-based crime reduction strategies. He has supported the development and implementation of Community Violence Interventions (CVI) and has become a strong proponent of CVI.
Mr. Onufrychuk holds an M.A. degree in Criminology from George Mason University and previously served as Research Coordinator at the Addiction Policy Forum.
