Transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) pose a serious threat to the safety and security of communities nationwide. Their presence can result in increased violence, drug trafficking, and other forms of illicit activities that endanger citizens and place a strain on law enforcement resources. Agencies play a critical role in identifying and addressing TCOs. This quick hit session will provide an overview of IACP’s newly developed training through CRI-TAC, which equips officers with the knowledge and tools to recognize, understand, and effectively investigate TCOs.
