This quick hit will introduce attendees to the IACP’s Mass Violence Advisory Initiative (MVAI), a collaborative effort designed to support law enforcement agencies and communities in preparing for and effectively responding to mass violence events. This session will provide a high-level overview of the initiative’s key components, including resources, response guidance, and recovery tools developed through extensive engagement with subject matter experts and impacted communities.
