Data helps drive better, more informed decision-making. With this in mind, police leaders across the United States have contributed to IACP's Police Agency Benchmarking Dashboard to make it easier for relevant stakeholders to see how their agencies compare to those of similar sizes, locations, and types. The IACP Center for Police Research and Policy used these contributions, along with national statistics from the LEMAS, SVI, and NIBRS datasets, to create an interactive dashboard that displays information about budgets, staffing, recruitment, technology, calls for service, and more.
